The first 600-tonne mining excavator for Adani is now complete and ready to put it to work.
The excavator was built on-site over an eight week period, towers more than 18m high and 22m in length and while it’s impressive in terms of the volume of dirt it can move, it’s unlikely to pick up any speeding tickets, with a top range speed of just 2.2km/hr.
