Yanmar SV100-2PB Midi Excavator Exhibited at Hillhead Digital

Yanmar SV100-2PB midi excavator has proven itself time and again in agricultural, civil engineering, construction and landscaping projects around the world. Its Stage V-compliant direct-injection diesel engine produces 70.3hp and 283Nm of torque, achieving travel speeds of up to 4.4km/h.

Weighing 10,360kg, the SV100-2PB is surprisingly compact, bringing the capabilities of a much larger excavator to a midi size machine. A short tail swing of just 170mm makes the model well-suited to urban or space-restricted sites where a powerful machine is needed.

Thanks to Yanmar’s innovative ViPPS 4-pump hydraulic system, the SV100-2PB delivers a digging force of 45.8kN (arm) and 68.5kN (bucket). The two-piece articulated boom – often seen on larger excavators – enables the excavator to lift, move and place loads up to 45% greater than equivalent competitor models.

Equipped with Yanmar’s patented Victas system, the excavator’s tracks are stable and resistant to wear. The cab, certified to FOPS level 2, offers a spacious interior, excellent ergonomics, and a novel anti-noise and vibration system, maximizing operator comfort and minimizing fatigue.
