    Changes in Komatsu’s German Distributor Network

    GP Günter Papenburg and Schlüter Baumaschinen have agreed that GP Baumaschinen Halle, including G-tec Positioning, will be transferred to the company Schlüter Baumaschinen, including all rights and duties, on 01.01.2022.

    Representatives of the companies GP Günter Papenburg AG, Klaus Papenburg (CEO), Schlüter Baumaschinen GmbH, Thomas Schlüter (CEO) with Maximilian Schlüter (Manager Compact Center) und Thomas Schlüter jr. (Product Manager Digital Construction Site), Komatsu Europe International, Göksel Güner (COO) as well as Marco Maschke (Manager German Office), during an appointment in the Komatsu manufacturing plant in Hannover.

    Komatsu is confident that this integration will further reinforce Komatsu’s network in Germany and will enhance its ability to grant the highest level of services to customers as a base for our future growth.

    The current MD of GP Baumaschinen Halle, Mr. Thomas Jedrzejczak, will remain with the company and assure consistency for customers as well as for employees, and actively follow up on future tasks and challenges in order to develop the company’s long-term strategy.

    Komatsu expresses its appreciation for the long years of fruitful collaboration with the Papenburg Group, which started back in 1989 with Komatsu’s participation in Hanomag. Komatsu will continue to provide the Papenburg Group with high-quality products so that its trustful and long-term cooperation remains the same in the future.

    Together with a well-experienced team, and coverage increased to about three-quarters of the German market, Schlüter Baumaschinen looks optimistically to the future. In their new integrated network, approximately 1.000 employees at 34 locations are available for customer services.
