Hitachi Construction Machinery announces that its Board of Management has made the strategic decision to terminate and dissolve the exclusive distribution agreement with MPH Epitogep on 1st of June, 2023.
In 2014, MPH was appointed as the authorized dealer for HCME in Hungary, providing access to the full range of Hitachi construction machinery products. However, in light of recent changes in the business environment, HCME and MPH have engaged in discussions regarding the prospects of the exclusive distribution agreement. As a result, a decision has been made to terminate the relationship in a future-oriented perspective.
HCME is currently seeking a new dealer in Hungary to increase the brand awareness and market share of Hitachi Construction Machinery, as well as to enhance customer satisfaction. Once appointed, the new dealer will be able to provide our customers in Hungary with the latest products, technologies, and services.
Our utmost priority is to ensure uninterrupted services for our customers who own HCM products sold through MPH in Hungary. Therefore, HCME temporally appointed Stavebne Stroje Slovakia as service and parts provider to support existing customers in Hungary until a new exclusive dealer is assigned.
