Ukraine’s Minister of Infrastructure Visits Hyundai Korean Plant

Hyundai Construction Equipment shared that  Vasyl Shkurakov, the First Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine, and members of Ukrainian Railways visited HD Hyundai Construction Equipment’s Ulsan Campus in Korea.

The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine and Ukrainian Railways visited Korea for the 50th session of the OSJD Ministers Conference hosted by Korea’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.

Representatives of the Ukrainian Government first visited the Asan Memorial Hall at HD Hyundai Heavy Industries which explains the history of HD Hyundai and its founder, the late Ju-yung Chung. Then they visited HD Hyundai Heavy Industries’ shipyard and HD Hyundai Construction Equipment’s manufacturing plant.

Chief Sales Officer and Vice President of HD Hyundai Construction Equipment, Jae-Young Moon, Head of Global Manufacturing Department and Executive Vice President Chan-hyuk Park, and other representatives met with guests from Ukraine and explained the company’s local network and services on technology support. They also asked for the cooperation from the Ministry of Infrastructure and other governmental offices in case there is a need to conduct local surveys for potential reconstruction projects in Ukraine.

A representative of Hyundai Construction Equipment said:

“We plan to build a consultative relationship with the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine to start and share information on reconstruction projects in various areas including that of the construction equipment business.”
