The new LHA, LH Front and LHD tyres will debut at IAA Transportation 2026, completing Apollo Tyres’ European-developed range for steer, drive and trailer axles.
Long-haul fleets are under growing pressure to reduce operating costs without compromising reliability on high-mileage routes. Apollo Tyres is addressing this by unveiling three new EnduMile truck tyres at IAA Transportation 2026 in Hannover. The new truck tyres are designed to balance fuel efficiency, tyre life and durability across key axle positions.
The new EnduMile LHA, LH Front and LHD tyres join the existing EnduMile LHT trailer tyre, completing Apollo Tyres’ dedicated long-haul portfolio. Developed in Europe, the range has been engineered for operators that need low rolling resistance, but cannot afford to sacrifice mileage, wet-weather performance or winter capability.
Tyres remain a critical part of the total cost of ownership for long-distance transport fleets. Fuel consumption, tread life, downtime, retreadability and seasonal compliance all affect the real cost of a tyre beyond the initial purchase price. For fleet managers, the question is which product can deliver consistent efficiency over a long operating life.
Apollo Tyres’ new range has been developed to address that challenge directly. The EnduMile LHA and LH Front are intended primarily for steer-axle applications, while the EnduMile LHD is designed for drive axles. The full EnduMile family carries the Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake marking, certifying suitability for use in demanding winter conditions.
The EnduMile LHA will be available in 315/70 R22.5. Although designed mainly for steer axles, it offers all-position capability. Its slim, compact tread design, wide contact area and optimised footprint are intended to support even wear, steering precision and stability during long-distance operation. In controlled European field testing, the company says the EnduMile LHA delivered 10% greater mileage than a leading tier 1 competitor.
Wet and winter grip are supported by interlocking 3D sipes, while Apollo Tyres’ Invisible Groove Technology gradually changes the shape of the grooves as the tyre wears, helping maintain dependable grip on wet and snowy roads throughout the tyre’s life. The LHA also achieves an A rating for external road noise.
The tyre uses a specially engineered tread compound with reinforced polymer technology, developed to support high mileage, fuel efficiency and resistance to damage. A reinforced bead area and specially engineered carcass are designed to improve durability under demanding long-haul use.
The EnduMile LH Front, available in 385/55 R22.5, extends the LHA pattern to a wider steer-axle size. It shares the same compact tread layout, broad contact area and interlocking 3D sipes, giving fleets another option for long-distance tractor configurations.
For drive axles, Apollo Tyres will introduce the EnduMile LHD in 315/70 R22.5. Its directional block-rib tread design maintains a wide contact footprint with optimised pressure distribution, supporting traction, consistent wear and extended mileage. In controlled European field testing, the company says the LHD delivered up to 20% greater mileage than a leading tier 1 competitor.
The LHD uses interlocking centre blocks to improve stability and torque transfer, while a new-generation tread compound with hybrid filler technology is designed to enhance durability, fuel efficiency and resistance to damage. Like the LHA, it carries an A rating for external road noise and features Invisible Groove Technology to help maintain grip throughout the tyre’s operating life.
The three new tyres build on Apollo Tyres’ entry into the dedicated long-haul segment in 2023 with the EnduMile LHT trailer tyre. A second LHT size followed in 2024 in response to customer demand. The trailer tyre is now available in 385/55 R22.5 and 385/65 R22.5 sizes, with A ratings for rolling resistance and external road noise. Its free-rolling tread pattern, broad contact patch and advanced compound are designed to reduce fuel consumption and promote even wear, while its robust carcass supports retreadability.
According to Apollo Tyres, completing the EnduMile family is part of a wider push to strengthen its position in the European truck and bus market.
