ATG showcases the Galaxy LHD 500 SDS Tyre

Amongst other best-selling Alliance and Galaxy treads, the display in hall A6, stand 309, will include the innovative Galaxy LHD 500 SDS for heavy forklifts and wheel loaders as well as the brand new Alliance A585 for compact and backhoe loaders. The BAUMA tire display represents a strong cross-section of ATG’s high-performance portfolio for a broad range of operations and machines – all representing the brands’ reputation for excellent value for money.

GALAXY tires on display

This year’s ATG stand at BAUMA features the Galaxy LHD 500 SDS as the new representative of the brand’s construction expertise in solid tires. Developed to “endure the extreme”, the LHD 500 SDR (Severe Duty Solid) was specifically engineered to reliably cope with extreme working environments. Designed to effectively turn the power of heavy forklifts and wheel loaders into traction, the LHD 500 SDS offers low wear, long service life and maximum productivity. An additional variant of this tire is also available with single apertures for enhanced riding comfort. At BAUMA 2019, this tire will be on display in size 17,5-25.

The Galaxy LDSR 300 is a highly successful tire developed to efficiently handle and load loose material such as sand, dirt or gravel in harsh environments. Special compounds of the LDSR 300 ensure superior chipping and chunking resistance along with high ground stability and excellent traction. In combination with the all steel carcass, a special belt design and the strong sidewall protector, these tires offer convincingly low wear and effective protection against damages. The stepped lugs provide more “biting edges” for impressive traction and allow for perfect self-cleaning characteristics, making this tire the perfect choice for customers looking for top durability, performance, and efficiency. The LDSR 300 is presented in size 23,5R25.

The renowned Galaxy Beefy Baby III in size 10-16,5 completes the Galaxy portfolio on display at the ATG stand. This tire is an advanced design with 10% higher tread depth than the previous design of the Beefy Baby II. Due to an increased overlap, there is a significant increase in the amount of rubber in the centre of the tread pattern. The shallower angles of the shoulder lugs provide increased traction whilst the shape of the under tread enhances the self-cleaning characteristics of this tire. The Beefy Baby III was developed for skid steer, backhoe loaders, as well as utility tractors and boom, lifts used on construction sites.

The Alliance 506 Dual Master and the Alliance 528 Dual Master complete the tire range on ATG’s stand-in hall A6. The sidewall construction of both tires allows for close contact between pairs of tires as frequently used on excavators, thus excluding the need to mount a special rubber ring to prevent stones from getting trapped between the tires. The special compounds, as well as the all steel radial construction, ensure a long tread life, a comfortable ride and low fuel consumption. At the same time, the strong carcass of this tire provides high machine stability along with good puncture protection and re-treadability. The shoulder lugs of the Dual Master 506 and the Dual Master 528 provide efficient grip on soft surfaces. Both tires are on display in size 315/80R22,5.
