At Intermat, Yanmar CE will showcase its range of compact equipment, including all-electric loaders, excavators and tracked carriers. The low-emission and just-released SV86-7 and SV100-7 midi excavators will also be on display.
Yanmar’s all-electric trio
At booth number EXT6C 098, Yanmar CE will reveal its all-electric trio: the SV17e, V8e and C08e. Powered by all-electric drive and featuring an open-centre hydraulic system with load-sensing hydraulic pump, the SV17e mini excavator has been designed with operator experience in mind. Delivering 23.5 kWh gross electric power (19 kWh usable), the 48V air-cooled model provides impressive digging, lifting and carrying capability. And as its emissions are effectively nil, it easily meets all the world’s most demanding emission restrictions.
Meanwhile, the 4.5-tonne V8e electric wheel loader features an 800-litre loading bucket and smooth hydrostatic drive and high-lifting capabilities, making it ideal for heavy lifting in all-terrain applications – including tight job sites. It features powerful 11kW charging in standard configuration, and 22kW in optional fast charging.
Completing the electric trio is Yanmar’s 555kg C08e electric carrier, which combines compact dimensions with an 11.5 kWh battery and a capacity of 24V.
Loaders and midi-excavators
With electric the theme running through the company’s presence at the show, the V7 and V7-HW wheel loaders are based on a new platform that can support both diesel and electric power trains. Launched in diesel configuration, they fill a gap at the smaller end of the company’s compact wheel loader range. Some half tonne lighter than the next largest machines in the Yanmar range, the V7 weighs 4,250kg and has a standard bucket capacity of 0.7m3, while the V7 H-W (Heavy Weight) – thanks to an additional 200kg of ballast integrated into the machine – weighs 4,450kg, with a bucket capacity of 0.8m3.
Also making their debut at a major show, Yanmar CE will unveil its next-generation midi-excavators – the SV86-7 and SV100-7. Its latest midi excavators set new standards of compactness and efficiency in the 8-10 tonne segment, as well as increased performance and operator-centric design. Despite being in the 9-tonne class SV86-7 and 10-tonne SV100-7 maintain a compact footprint associated with smaller machines. They feature a tight front swing radius and minimal rear turning radiuses. Coupled with minimal rear overhang, these machines are the tools to have if you find yourself in a tight spot.
Yanmar’s ’90s Skills Challenge’ at Intermat
Intermat presents an opportunity to engage in the ‘90s Skills Challenge’, where visitors have the opportunity to pit their abilities using a mini excavator to complete a dexterity challenge against the clock (and against other participants.) The challenge is part of Yanmar’s You Club – a community for operators to connect, experience Yanmar content and interact with the brand. The company will be signing up new You Operator Club members at the show.
