SaMoTer 2026: Italy’s Meeting Point for the World’s Top Construction Equipment Brands

SaMoTer, the triennial construction machinery event organised by Veronafiere, is approaching its 32nd edition. The exhibition will take place in Verona from 6 to 9 May 2026, bringing OEMs, dealers, contractors and industry professionals back to one of Europe’s key meeting points for the sector.

SaMoTer 2026 brings the leaders of construction equipment to Verona. Major international brands have confirmed their participation, along with a prominent return. With 6 halls and 3 outdoor areas, the exhibition organised by Veronafiere in collaboration with UNACEA and CECE once again positions itself as the strategic hub where the entire construction world meets, exchanges ideas, and plans the future together. The event brings together technologies, solutions, and services for every segment of the supply chain: earthmoving, lifting, demolition, drilling, crushing, concrete, road construction, quarry and jobsite vehicles, as well as attachments and components, engines and spare parts, logistics, services, and ICT.

Within this framework, the Earthmoving sector has been the heart of the show for more than sixty years. It will feature the major comeback of Volvo CE, which has chosen SaMoTer 2026 to launch its new range of machines and services, alongside brands synonymous with power and innovation such as CGT (part of the TESYA Group and Caterpillar dealer), Doosan Bobcat, Develon, Dieci, Hidromek A.S., Hitachi, Hyundai, Kemroc, Kobelco, Komatsu, Leica Geosystems, LiuGong Italia, Mantovanibenne, Massucco T., Merlo, Messersì, Takeuchi Italia, Oilquick, Officine Malaguti, Sany, SDLG, Spektra, Sunward Europe Heavy Industry, SIMEX, Topcon, Cangini Benne, VF Venieri, Wacker Neuson, and XCMG.

Alongside them will be key players from the Concrete world such as CIFA, as well as Faresin Formwork Spa and Simem Spa, bringing to the market the latest solutions for production, transport, and placement, with growing attention to sustainability, digitalisation, and process automation.

The Crushing and Demolition segment will feature leading names including Indeco, MB Crusher Spa, Trevi Benne, Keestract, Gasparin, Sandvik, and VTN Europe Spa. These reference brands are reshaping the dynamics of efficiency on urban and infrastructure job sites.

The exhibitor landscape will be completed by companies such as Usco Spa in engine components and spare parts, and by the Road Construction sector represented by Ammann Italy, Sumitomo, and Hanta, benchmarks for paving and road infrastructure maintenance.

“SaMoTer,” said Adolfo Rebughini, General Manager of Veronafiere, “has represented the key reference point for more than sixty years where the construction equipment industry anticipates the future. The return of major international brands confirms the solidity of the project and the market’s confidence in the event’s ability to generate value for companies and operators. In a context of unprecedented transformation driven by digitalisation and automation, SaMoTer 2026 positions itself as the platform where these innovations are translated into strategies and business opportunities for the entire supply chain.”

“We are organising an unmissable edition of SaMoTer, designed around the needs of professional operators,” added Matteo Pasinato, SaMoTer Event Manager, “with increasingly accessible and dynamic appointments, where visitors and exhibitors can interact through immersive formats, live demonstrations, and thematic routes. A trade show like this must be experienced, not just visited.”

SaMoTer 2026 is therefore shaping up to be one of the most international and innovative editions yet. A key highlight will be the SaMoTer Academy, a new strategic project in collaboration with Engim Veneto. This spin-off initiative was created to support the transformation of the construction equipment sector through high-quality, highly specialised training, both cultural and technical-professional.
