Italian manufacturer Bonfiglioli will debut its new 700/2 CE electric drive solution for compact track dumpers at iVT Expo 2026 in Cologne, Germany, an event focused on components, systems and technologies for next-generation off-highway vehicles. The prototype-oriented system will be presented alongside a broader portfolio of electric, hybrid and hydraulic drive solutions for construction, agricultural and mobile machinery.
The display reflects a product strategy that keeps hydraulic expertise alongside electric and integrated driveline technologies. Bonfiglioli’s portfolio covers both low- and high-voltage applications, supporting OEMs developing hybrid and electrified equipment while continuing to serve conventional hydraulic-drive architectures.
At the centre of the construction equipment offering is an integrated electric swing drive for excavators up to 20 tonnes. The system combines the 700T planetary gearbox with Bonfiglioli’s BPM permanent magnet motor series. Operating from 400 to 700 V and delivering up to 35 kW, the package is designed as a compact solution for electric excavator applications.

For high-voltage hybrid and partially electrified machines, Bonfiglioli is also presenting the liquid-cooled BPM 200 permanent magnet motor. The motor is intended for applications where selected machine functions are being electrified through electric pump-drive systems, rather than through a full transition to battery-electric operation.
Compact track loaders are another focus of the stand. Bonfiglioli is showing a drive system combining the 705CE gearbox with the BPM 240 permanent magnet motor. Designed for machines from 1.5 to 6 tonnes, the solution targets compact equipment architectures where available installation space is limited but power density remains critical.
The portfolio also extends to lower-voltage equipment. For mini track loaders, mini excavators and agricultural applications, Bonfiglioli is pairing its 700T series with an air-cooled BPM 200 motor. Available with IP65 and IP66 protection ratings and nominal power up to 16 kW, the system is suited to applications including agricultural AGV robotic systems and electrically driven pump architectures.
In agricultural equipment, these low-voltage solutions are positioned for connected and electric attachments used in vineyard and orchard maintenance, including trimmers, mowers and other precision tools. Electric drives can provide controlled speed and torque while removing the need for hydraulic oil, reducing the number of moving parts and lowering maintenance requirements.

The newest product on display is the 700/2 CE solution for compact track dumpers. Intended for prototype applications, the system combines the electric version of the 700C track drive with the new BPM 111 permanent magnet motor. It operates in the 48–80 V range and is available with IP65 and IP67 protection ratings.
The compact dumper package includes an electromagnetic parking brake and a rotating housing output intended to support manoeuvrability in compact tracked vehicles. Because the track gearboxes are electrically driven, the system is also designed for work in areas where emissions and noise are a concern, including night-shift applications.
